'Baltic' Gull

Stef Mcelwee has kindly allowed me to post a series of shots of a putative juvenile 'Baltic' Gull taken in Lincolnshire on 2nd September 2009. It is an interesting individual that shows many of the key features attributable to fuscus at this age such as the slender build, very pale head, breast & belly, dark greater coverts with whiteish tips and cold grey appearance.
