Hybrid Glaucous-winged Gull x Herring Gull

This gull was video-scoped at Sue's Ponds, near the Logan Landfill, in Cache County, Utah on 19 October 2008. Most of the other gulls in this shot are California Gulls. There may be a Ring-billed Gull or two somewhere in the background. This bird was initially identified as a Thayer's or Glaucous-winged Gull but the expert consenus seems to be that it is a hybrid between a Glaucous-winged Gull and a Herring Gull, also known as a Cook Inlet Gull

Not the Teeside bird rather some from Skagway, Alaska ( a slightly less hostile environment).
